For a state that started out as retirement-ville, Florida has become a boomland for tourists and families alike. This book gives an exponential view into the boot of America. I have lived in FL for 24 years and this work of art was one of best reads and information revealers into my home. The places and people leave the reader craving more and more. I first discoverded this book in Sarasota Fl. This book contains many strange facts from many different parts of the state. Hauntings, weird geology, strange architecture, unexplaned occurrences, its all here in one book. If you are a fan of "Ripleys believe it or not" you will love this book. (You Tube BobWebbmusic)

Summary: "Buyer Beware if You are Looking to Actually Go on an Adventure"

This book is very interesting - having lots of neat info and pictures, but there are no directions on how to get to these places. Come on, if I'm going to buy a book about cool places, shouldn't the book say how to get there! So make sure you know that you will still have to research how to find these places on your own, even with the book.

Holy cow!!! This is a really informative and fun guide to lots of cool places. I live here and didn't even know these things existed. I bought it to see what I could offer my visitors as a "to do and see" list. Now, I am in the know, baby!
